The purpose of this website is to gather and share information about
TOOLS and TECHNIQUES that help a Software Quality Assurance (QA) professional
perform his or her job at minimal cost in terms of time and money.

It is cheaper to fix bugs if caught early in the cycle than later.
Most Software development follows a cycle similar to this:
   a) Requirements Gathering and Planning
   b) Design and development
   c) Testing: Functional, Benchmarking, Scalability
   d) Production and Field Support, monitoring
   e) Feedback from Customers
It's cheaper to fix if found at (a) instead of at (e)

One way to save money is to use Open Source Tools. However, if
there is not enough support then the costs add up in terms of doing
in house integration and customization of Open source Tools.
